DiMaio Development Consulting Website
This training and development website project provides a pathway to addressing the underlying causes of employee disengagement by helping companies overcome the negative impacts of modern-day workplace challenges including The Great Resignation, employees who are quiet quitting, and those who are career cushioning. From an employee perspective, during this volatile and uncertain economic climate, employees are facing increased stress and anxiety due to significant inflation, salary freezes or reductions, and the threat of layoffs.
The project seeks to offer training resources to be used in developing a comprehensive strategic plan to positively influence corporate culture, improve employee productivity and enhance performance. A commitment to personal and professional development along with a focus on genuine relationship building among team members will help build social capital and ensure a corporate environment of employee engagement where individuals strive for excellence while feeling supported, appreciated, valued, and connected through a common purpose.
Key concepts from both Systems Theory and Rhetorical Theory have guided the design of the project. In this current business environment organizations must adapt to remain competitive, profitable, and relevant. The website design was organized to increase the effectiveness of the mode of communication by incorporating the three elements of rhetorical proof: Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. The consulting website artifact includes individual pages detailing the organization’s services and core competencies, the background and experience of the trainer, training philosophy, a sample training workshop, client testimonials, and community engagement activity.
